It is important to maintain your Heating and Air Conditioning system just like a car. Keeping up on maintenance provides longer life and top performance of your unit. This is the reason why Ted Dumont HVAC offers premier maintenance services to you. When you become a comfort club member, we visit you semi-annually to perform safety inspections, clean, and tune your system. As a member you receive priority service and discounts on repairs.

Maintenance visits take place in the spring and fall at your convenience. You don't even have to remember to call we will remember for you.


  • During our service visit we replace all the air filters and adjust the tension of the belt/belts or replace if cracked or worn out.
  • We lubricate all motors/bearings to factory specs and check for wear.
  • Inspect fittings and check for any leaks on all refrigeration (Air Conditioning) components.
  • Clean and brush the evaporator (indoor) coil.
  • Run test the system to assure you freon levels are to factory specs.
  • Test all furnace safety devices to assure safe operation.
  • Once a Year, in the Spring, we use a high performance spray washer to acid clean your condenser coil (outdoor unit).
  • Check the master disconnect switch.
  • Also tighten up any/all loose electrical connections, checking for burnt or pitted components.
